Default: API calls to Claude or OpenAI with commercial DPAs in place (GDPR-compliant, no training on your data). If you need data in-country (UAE residency, regulated industry, healthcare/finance), we deploy local models on your hardware so nothing leaves your network.

You own the code. No IP markups, no licensing fees, no vendor lock-in. By default we host and maintain the system on our managed VPS so you don't have to think about infrastructure (uptime, updates, AI API costs passed through at zero markup, all included in a small monthly retainer). If we ever vanish, your developers can pick it up: it's standard Python/TypeScript, no proprietary platform.

Typically 2-3 weeks from kickoff to production, depending on scope and integrations. Simpler single-workflow builds land on the shorter end, multi-agent systems with several integrations on the longer. We move through discovery, architecture, working version, production in clear checkpoints. No 6-month enterprise timelines.

No. Default deploy is a VPS we manage for you. If you want it on your own hardware (Mac mini, local server) for data-sovereignty reasons, we can do that too, but it's not required.

Three layers: (1) we strip AI off the non-creative steps so code does the deterministic work and AI only reasons; (2) human-in-the-loop on anything that touches money, contracts, or external comms; (3) full action logging plus failure alerts (Slack/email) when an agent can't complete a task.

Subscriptions are for personal use. They're not protected by commercial DPAs, can't take action in your tools, and have no memory of your business data. The API (which we use) gives you GDPR-compliant data handling plus the ability to plug into your CRM, WhatsApp, inbox, and dashboards.

Honest answer: if Cowork's built-in integrations cover what you need, it's fine and basically free with Claude Pro. The catch is Cowork only works with Claude. New AI models come out every few months. With custom code, we pick the right model for each task (cheap for simple work, powerful for reasoning, local for sensitive data) and upgrade you the moment a better one comes out. With Cowork you feel like you're in control. With custom code, you actually are.

Not yet, and we don't recommend it. The tech isn't reliable enough for business calls. We focus on text channels (WhatsApp, email, internal chat) where the experience is genuinely better than human-handled.
